Below are some guidelines to help you understand positive community engagement on the Zump Platform. These guidelines outline behaviours or situations that may lead to loss of access to the platform. While unforeseen events can also result in losing access, these guidelines, regularly updated, set expectations for all Zump users. Failure to comply with any guideline may violate your agreement with Zump and result in losing platform access. You can report potential guideline violations to Zump, and we’ll address them according to our policies.
Sexual Assault and Misconduct
We highly value personal space and privacy. While friendly conversation is welcome, it’s essential to remain respectful. Please refrain from making comments about appearance or asking personal questions like relationship status or sexual orientation. Sexual assault and misconduct, which involve any sexual contact or behaviour without explicit consent, are strictly prohibited. Always respect personal boundaries and privacy.

Zump enforces a strict no-sex policy, irrespective of the individual’s consent or familiarity with the person.
Discrimination
We prioritize safety and inclusivity. Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, age, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, language, or any other protected characteristic is not tolerated. Examples include refusing services or rating others based on these traits. Discriminatory language, avoiding certain locations, or asking sensitive questions are also prohibited. Post-trip Contact
Contact should stop after the trip or delivery ends, except for returning lost items. Unwanted contact, like texting, calling, social media messages, visiting, or attempting to visit someone in person after a trip or delivery, may be considered harassment without mutual consent.
Prohibited Behaviour
Threatening or rude behavioru is strictly prohibited. This includes aggressive, confrontational, or harassing actions. Avoid using language, gestures, or actions that may be disrespectful, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate.
Physical Contact
Refrain from touching strangers or newly met individuals while using the Zump Platform. Exceptions apply for those requiring assistance, like riders using Zump Assist who need help getting in and out of the vehicle. Any form of intentional harm or intent to harm is strictly prohibited.
Be Respectful to Everyone
Your actions on the Zump Platform affect how safe and comfortable others feel. It’s important to be polite. For example, try to be on time for your rides avoid yelling, swearing, or slamming doors, and clean up any mess you make. Treat others with kindness and behave well, just like you would in public.
Zump is against racism and wants to make sure everyone feels welcome, no matter their background. Remember to respect everyone’s differences. Discrimination based on race or any other protected characteristic is not allowed on the Zump Platform and could lead to losing access to the apps.
Property Damage
Damaging property is against the rules. This includes harming the vehicle or any other transportation mode requested through the Zump Platform, breaking electronic devices like phones or tablets, spilling food or drink on purpose, smoking in a vehicle, damaging a merchant’s property, or vomiting due to excessive alcohol consumption or other reasons. If you damage property, you have to pay for cleaning and repairs, except for normal wear and tear. Intentional damage could result in your account being deactivated.
Ensuring Safety
Enforcement of Guidelines by Zump
If you violate any terms outlined in your contractual agreements with Zump or any applicable terms, policies, including the Community Guidelines, or additional standards communicated by Zump, you risk losing access to some or all features of the Zump Marketplace Platform. This may include the potential loss of access to multiple Zump accounts, such as rider, driver, or business accounts. Should you believe that an error has resulted in the loss of your account access, you have the option to reach out to the Zump Support team for assistance.
